Actually “Phantom” was ahead of it’s time, it has a number of parody bands performing very canny parody songs in different genres. There’s Beach Boys type group, a greaser-billy doo-wop band that does a teenage car-crash death ballad, and a glam band with a macho singer called “Beef”
