John Corbett, who I have now learned is of Corbett Dempsey Gallery and record label and wrote a vinyl column for downbeat.

Avatar 8:31pm

Well that was startling but nice.. my neighbors knocked on my door while I was voiceover-ing. They kept knocking for like two minutes. I thought they were going to complain that the music was too loud, but instead they wanted to give me spanakopita!
Avatar 8:34pm
spodiodi:

Avatar 8:37pm
djnogoodnick:

So.. ramen and spanakopita? Too much salt?

I'm definitely getting lazy in my old age-used to thumb through racks of thousands of records, carry them around, decide what to buy.
Now, I buy an album on Bandcamp, and I'm too lazy to download, unzip, tag and copy/paste to a music player. Seems like so much trouble...
Avatar 8:44pm
spodiodi:

if it's anything like leftover pizza, i bet that's great (coffee aside... i don't get it. :)
Avatar 8:46pm
djnogoodnick:

No it's not really like pizza, and it does go with coffee (at least I think so!). And hot sauce.
Avatar 8:46pm
spodiodi:

hot sauce FTW (on anything)!
Avatar 8:48pm
djnogoodnick:

This deli in Ridgewood used to carry a green "Amazon pepper sauce" that was amazing on a spinach burek.
Avatar 8:50pm
spodiodi:

ooh, Trader Joe's Green Dragon Sauce is also greeat!
not familiar with the Amazon sauce you mention, but will keep an eye out
