Mr Fab:

One positive takeaway from my Catholic upbringing - my love of spooky organ music that they used to serenade us with during church services. I have a folder of music that I was going to make into a post on my old blog called "Occult Organs."

Jan Turkenburg:

Hi again Mr Fab
Hi again desi. Frame Duggy Louder is derived from the Dutch "Vreemde Geluiden" (meaning 'strange sounds' ) which is pronounced somewhat like "Frame Duh Guh Louder".

WR:

rateyourmusic.com...

this is fun.

"The last two pieces, composed both by Francis Chapelet with the second being also performed by him, are named after two existing volcanos and aim to simulate their activities.
Specifically 'Etna 71' is a thunderous and rutilant representation of the eruption of the Etna that took place in 1971, while 'Evocations improvisées de l'éruption du volcan Niragongo' is more of a musical survey on Niragongo's volcanism and environs."

I hadn't looked it up, but yes, no surprise!

Oh darn, that’s a joke graphic! Too bad, I wish there really was an old song called “The Idiots Are Taking Over” for accordion and Hawaiian guitar.

Through the window I'm hearing swifts screaming in their flight. Blends in perfectly.
Avatar 12:42pm
Mr Fab:

Good idea. Just opened my window. I agree with Desi, so let's give my lovely suburban spring day an Eraserhead vibe and confuse my neighbors.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45pm
Jan Turkenburg:

I think I could play this even slower...
Avatar 12:47pm
Mr Fab:

There's a house about a mile from here that does in fact have a skeleton sitting at a piano in their front yard. Looks like Halloween decorations that they never bothered to take down. I bet plenty of people have slammed on their brakes driving by.

re "As Slow as Possible":
"An organ in St. Burchardi church in Halberstadt in 2001 began a performance that is due to end in 2640. The next note will be played on 5th February 2024."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:10pm
