I had just finished preparing my tribute to Jan Rot on Frame Duggy Louder, planning to play more 'Rotmuziek' this show, when I got the news that Henny Vrienten had died. It would be incredibly difficult to make a special that does Vrienten justice. Not only was he the lead singer, songwriter of the legendary Dutch band Doe Maar. He also composed the soundtracks of several movies and TV series (among which the Dutch Sesame Street) a.o. So here goes nothing...
