When I heard the Burrito Bros albums back when, I didn't know the earlier R&B version of that song. Now I know better and prefer James Carr's version. Interesting inversion of my perceptions.

I still subscribe to N+1, Conjunctions, Ploughshares, The Baffler, Dissent. And National Geographic. Might cancel that one after decades, the Disney takeover is painfully blatant
