I did a couple "test" stoppages of 30-100 days before I realized how crappy drinking made me feel once I started up again. Found out that I really don't mind getting up early... Dropped about 70 pounds the first year I stopped, but 15 have come back on.

One of the best shows I ever heard in my life was in Santa Monica, Calif. We were visiting for some radio show. It was VERY late at night and this DJ (a girl) was on and she was obviously drunk (like really drunk) and she was insulting the listeners. It wa hilarious! I remeber one guy calling in and saying "You're drunk!" to her. She just said, "F you!2 and started up Sonic Youth Kool Thing. I will never forget that. That's the way late night radio should be.

I Love the Milkees. Milkees got their name from a famous candy (I think it is Morinaga sweets)... Come to think of it. Here is some weird trivia... The minister of munitions during WWII was convicted and sent to prison as a Class A war criminal after the war. He spent 10 years in Prison! Gets out, and gets elected prime minister! Anyway, his grandson? Shinzo Abe! Abe's wife? The granddaughter of the guy who started Morinaga! (Which was once the biggest confectinery maker in Asia!)

Carmichael, Vietnam is rapidly becoming the worlds leading Beer producer, with Australian Barley. But this is Aldi's own brand, so don't know origin Brewer. I have tried to find out, all I know is, it supposedly has an Australian Brew master. If you start reading fine print on Supermarket Beer in States, you may find a few from Vietnam. But then you guys have Mexico making plenty of decent cheap (there) Beer.
