	❓ ♥ 12:57am Franco Twinkie: Coel, my mom had a '56 Belaire and my day had a '57. The '56 was the first car I ever drove. I was bugging my dad so much, he took me to The Santa Anita Race Track and let me go in the huge parking lot! I was eight years old.

	❓ ♥ 1:05am Franco Twinkie: I had a neighbor who liked scrambled eggs and brains. She was a lot of fun to go out to lunch with. She would eat all kinds of awful stuff and I would just watch in horror.

	♥ 1:09am coelacanth∅: Franco my father took my younger sister and i to the college parking lot a few times and we'd sit on his lap, steering while he controlled the pedals. probably my favorite thing as a child! ...he took us there when it was covered with ice too and taught us how to steer into a skid -like 8-10 years before i was old enough to get a license.

	❓ ♥ 1:19am joe mulligan: I always love to have a "surf bomb" station wagon to get to the beach.. this one was a '91 honda accord wagon. I left it parked right in front of our place in brooklyn. on a saturday morning I noticed it was gone.
	❓ ♥ 1:20am joe mulligan: I called the police, they made me go w/them to look for it nearby then they said they got a pic of it crossing the Verrazano bridge
	❓ ♥ 1:20am Franco Twinkie: Sara, we had a big patch of ivy in front of our house. When you watered the lawn, the snails came out in force and started a migration towards the house. I would get pair of scissors and cut off their eyes until the blades looked like they were loaded with caviar.

	❓ ♥ 1:22am joe mulligan: filed the report, cops left, then we went to the neighbor for camera footage. in the footage we saw a guy roll up in a beat up old honda across the street, leave it there, and go to our car & take my car
	♥ 1:23am Sara A: not sure about snails, but i know beer kills slugs. if you leave dishes of beer around your garden they will come to drink the sweet nectar and fall to their untimely death(s)

	❓ ♥ 1:25am joe mulligan: when we looked across the street, the beat up old honda the thief drove up with was still across the street! we called the cops again and when they arrived I was rifling through the registration to find out who took my car. cops yelled at me but as it turns out, that car was also stolen too! so the thief was hopping from stolen honda to stolen honda

	❓ ♥ 1:27am joe mulligan: the kicker is, when we watched the neighbor's cam video, we noticed ourselves walking home from dinner that night, and 2 minutes after we were inside the thief rolled up and stole our car in front of our house

Of course, him and his criminal friends 'borrowed' the car and drove it down to the marnia to try and steal a boat(?) They got into a televised hot pursuit on the San Diego Freeway, wrecked into something and tried to run up the embankment. Two of the idiots were caught, but Chresti's 'friend' managed to escape with a broken arm. Last time she saw him he was panhandling on an off ramp looking worse for wear.

	❓ ♥ 1:57am Franco Twinkie: Joe, this is what happened to me: A friend and I decided to drive up Highway One to San Francisco in my Volkswagon. But first we decided to spend a few days in Santa Cruz. We were sleeping on Bonny Doon, a beach about ten miles north. We would go into town, goof off, then go back to the beach for the night to sleep in the sand. On the day we were going to go to SF, a heavy fog rolled in, so we decided to spend one more night on the beach. When we climbed up to the highway the next morning, my car was gone. I hitched a ride up to Davenport, a little town North, and called the highway patrol to make out a stolen car report. All my money was in the car, but I had my back pack, so me and my friend hitchhiked to San Francisco. We got picked up by this guy from Texas who had a Chevy Malibu and tons of dope. He dropped us off in Golden Gate Park totally wrecked. We borrowed five dollars from a friend and hitchhiked back to L.A. the next day. Months later, I got a call from the highway patrol, they found just the body of the car in The Santa Cruz Mountains and wanted to know if I wanted it. I said no thanks and bought another Volkswagon.

	♥ 2:14am fred: @coel: I was robbed (of money, not a car) 4 times, 2 of these by cops. They're brazen about it near my workplace: they'll just stop you, search you and take all your money. That did get better in the last few years though, because of military patrols (cops are afraid of them)

	❓ ♥ 1:20am Franco Twinkie: Sara, we had a big patch of ivy in front of our house. When you watered the lawn, the snails came out in force and started a migration towards the house. I would get pair of scissors and cut off their eyes until the blades looked like they were loaded with caviar.

	❓ ♥ 1:25am joe mulligan: when we looked across the street, the beat up old honda the thief drove up with was still across the street! we called the cops again and when they arrived I was rifling through the registration to find out who took my car. cops yelled at me but as it turns out, that car was also stolen too! so the thief was hopping from stolen honda to stolen honda

Of course, him and his criminal friends 'borrowed' the car and drove it down to the marnia to try and steal a boat(?) They got into a televised hot pursuit on the San Diego Freeway, wrecked into something and tried to run up the embankment. Two of the idiots were caught, but Chresti's 'friend' managed to escape with a broken arm. Last time she saw him he was panhandling on an off ramp looking worse for wear.

	❓ ♥ 1:57am Franco Twinkie: Joe, this is what happened to me: A friend and I decided to drive up Highway One to San Francisco in my Volkswagon. But first we decided to spend a few days in Santa Cruz. We were sleeping on Bonny Doon, a beach about ten miles north. We would go into town, goof off, then go back to the beach for the night to sleep in the sand. On the day we were going to go to SF, a heavy fog rolled in, so we decided to spend one more night on the beach. When we climbed up to the highway the next morning, my car was gone. I hitched a ride up to Davenport, a little town North, and called the highway patrol to make out a stolen car report. All my money was in the car, but I had my back pack, so me and my friend hitchhiked to San Francisco. We got picked up by this guy from Texas who had a Chevy Malibu and tons of dope. He dropped us off in Golden Gate Park totally wrecked. We borrowed five dollars from a friend and hitchhiked back to L.A. the next day. Months later, I got a call from the highway patrol, they found just the body of the car in The Santa Cruz Mountains and wanted to know if I wanted it. I said no thanks and bought another Volkswagon.
