	9:34pm Otis: Been so long since I attended a Negativland show, last was It's All In Your Head in SF/2005... before that True/False Seattle 2000.
	🎸 ♥ 9:35pm austinrich: The new tour that they went on for their new album was VERY good. Wobbly and Mark play together VERY well these days, and they just go and go. No setlists, just whatever they want. It's really cool.

	🎸 ♥ 9:40pm austinrich: I was such a nerd for MX-80, that when they did the push for this in 2004, I followed the press / release schedule almost religiously. I was sad the album didn't hit bigger, but I think it was out of sync with the music world in the early 2000's.

	🎸 ♥ 9:54pm austinrich: I'll have to look up the name of the club. It has since shut down due to covid. In the early 90's, that same club was the place Nirvana had their Nevermind album release, apparently.
	9:55pm Otis: Crocodile maybe? I moved to Seattle in '97 though... a bit after the Nirvasion.

A combination of collage, new experimental records and other bits and bobs, Mid-Valley Mutations is a tour through the mind of Austin Rich, who has been broadcasting in some form since 1998. Heavily influenced by Dr Demento, Don Joyce and old fashioned College Radio, Austin creates Audio Essays on a variety of subjects, and even just plays records, from time to time. Sometimes Live music and Interviews will grace the program, helping create a situation where you don't really know what you're going to hear, when you tune in. What you need to know is when you enter the Mid-Valley region, be prepared for the Musical Mutations... in whatever form they take.
