Tonto and the Lone ranger were too sad to go on - they had seen too many broken arrows- put to many broken souls n jail - rode to many miles - looked into to many eyes and told them it was over - tonto looked over the sky as large bright ball came down from the sky and spoke unto them - it said two words " the garden" they understood and walked over the hill and to the technicolor dream perfume garden and became pure light and tonto looked at the lone ranger and said "it is good "

Mr. Nix who is 80 now had quite a life in music. He's touched every base.. but I'll let Don tell the story!! The copy my dear departed friend Michael Carlucci had in his record store Subterranean on Cornelia St in the West Village, belonged to guitarist Robert Quine. I had never seen a copy and I'm an avid reader of music history books.. Bobby also had a gear collection that was completely over the top, and his record collection was also astounding. Well cared for and full of pristine LPs he bought in real time!

Her co-worker played bass with B.B. King for about 15 years. His sister was considerably older & had gone to NYC & then London in the 60s. After she & Peter divorced she stayed in LA & had many music biz friends there.

I can tell you generally about the mellotron. It was full of actual tape loops, which changed with the heat and humidity. Taking a mellotron on tour was practically impossible.

Zoelpw -Michael's shop was very guitar centric.. he was in the band Winter Hours, grew up in Lyndhurst, New Jersey and was a vital part of the Hoboken indie scene. If you search the web, you'll get an idea.. I miss him dearly, though his spirit hasn't left. Every so often, bittersweet as it is, I'll cross paths with his presence in the WV hood we both called home. Michael was very humble about his guitar playing, which I understood really well.. His heart and soul lived in playing, and selling records, which brought him into one remarkable community in this life..
