It woke up but never really roused when I took it inside and kept it in a box in the tub. NYC, where you can get condoms, hot chocolate, and hair gel delivered at 4 AM, has no 24-hour raptor rescue center. But that place agreed to let me drop it off on Mon. morning. Unfortunately, it died while I was showering to get ready for work. Very disheartening -- and the prettiest corpse I have ever seen.

	🦇 ♥ 4:30pm Phillippe: @dreamyandseedy My bride and I went to a wedding a few months back in Blacksburg VA and the inn where the wedding was at had a bunch of hummingbird feeders along the driveway. Had to be 100-150 hummingbirds hanging out. I think "swarm" would be an apt description

	🦇 ♥ 4:32pm dreamyandseedy: haha yes hummer swarms are very fun to witness. I use about 125 lb of sugar feeding mine! i do miss them when they are gone even tho keeping the feeders clean and full is a lot of work. i would trade a hummer for a fish crow!

It woke up but never really roused when I took it inside and kept it in a box in the tub. NYC, where you can get condoms, hot chocolate, and hair gel delivered at 4 AM, has no 24-hour raptor rescue center. But that place agreed to let me drop it off on Mon. morning. Unfortunately, it died while I was showering to get ready for work. Very disheartening -- and the prettiest corpse I have ever seen.
