	♥ 3:35pm D Rok: I know Beck released a new album in 2019. It was hit and miss. Not sure what he's been doing during the pandemic. Sea Change is also awesome. I think I just tend to most like his more mellow stuff. Not that I dislike things like Midnight Vultures.

So many box sets are filled with half-baked demo and various takes of released tracks... this box set really shows that the band hit the ground running with so much top-notch material... So much of the unrleased material consists of fully realized superb tracks.

	🥁 ♥ 4:48pm zzz: was so sad to hear about his passing. incredible player and such a positive energy. was very fortunate to be able to see him perform a lot around nyc over the past 10 or so years. was definitely I liked what Don Was put out: "Doc was a musical genius who possessed a deep, funky groove and a wry, playful spirit. His mastery of the drawbars was equaled only by the warmth in his heart. He was a beautiful guy and all of us at Blue Note loved him a lot."

His mastery of the drawbars was equaled only by the warmth in his heart. He was a beautiful guy and all of us at Blue Note loved him a lot."
