Zoe, I think I read somewhere that the Dovers single "The Third Eye" was forgotten until the 80s when one surfaced. I wonder if there are more unknown singles of theirs out there still. That song was on par with what the Beatles and the Byrds were doing in early 1966, they were really on the cutting edge

Zoe - it was, and still is.. so many recorded there over the years, and still do, if they haven't left us.. The studio did fall into disrepair for a number of years, but was rebuilt by the current owner.. folks have been coming back to record there, Patti Smith who also lives in the hood, records there frequently.. It's full circle for Patti and the band, since she recorded Horses there in 1975, and when she moved back to NYC recorded her first album in many years there. Thanks for the fabulous show Zoe!
