I don’t know if it was one string, but it sound like he was doing a drone with the open string and doing a bunch of pull offs and hammer ons and octaves. Pretty amazing piece.

It was indeed dark but with time the shock of the final scene recedes and gives way to reflection on the splendor of the entire season - were they trapped in an alternate timeline, was Laura's mother somehow trapped in the house by a spell and able to escape in that last moment?

	🎸 ♥ 4:19pm Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen: @anotherpatrick my feeling with TP and a lot of David Lynch is that there is a story and we should absolutely not try very hard to figure it out, because we already know what it is on a gut-level, not an intellectual level. you can feel the weight of that show and what's happening, you don't need to have everything actually explained and i think that is why david lynch is so adamant about never explaining his work. you know what the story is in your gut, not your head and that's why it's so powerful

It turns out there is a an alternative pilot for Season 1 out there which neatly ties everything up, made for the European market. luckily it wasn't widely shown, and I am glad that he has been able to create this world which is full of mystery and not easily explained.

It turns out there is a an alternative pilot for Season 1 out there which neatly ties everything up, made for the European market. luckily it wasn't widely shown, and I am glad that he has been able to create this world which is full of mystery and not easily explained.
