Totally agree - I heard many Springsteen hits frequently throughout my childhood but they didn’t strike a chord with me until much later in life. This is one of them that I had to rediscover over the past few years to fully appreciate. Great choice for this weekend!

Oh, cool, Dave -- we drove right by it on one of our drives. We didn't get any hiking in between the heat and the rain.

clarke, yeah -- the mighty Hudson! We rented a canoe twice rather than bringing ours all the way up since the weather was so unsettled. We went out twice, once from Hudson and once from Saugerties. Probably that first one was too hot to really do it, but we made a go of it. The dog drank a ton of water. We had to abort after a couple of hours and go rehydrate. It was cooler the next day from Saugerties, and we had a great time. Bald eagles, osprey, tons of great blue heron. Really nice.
