Hi Jesse. Here for the zen 'til the hour of ten.

@gloomsday: ups and downs here, glad it's summer but my fav microphones got eaten by a chipmunk last week! At least I got a recording of it, played it last week lol.
Avatar 7:17pm

hey StringOFperils, I've got your music of mind release tonight

I think the dog is digging this. I *know* I am.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:19pm
gloomsday:

nooo! my garden is getting dug up by squirrels and chipmunks, which is far less distressing than microphone munches—oof! but now i'm gonna have to listen to last week's show after this :)
Avatar 7:20pm
Jesse Kaminsky:

Hey Jeff g.!
Dog's like, finally you have some real water music on the radio :)
Avatar 7:21pm
Jesse Kaminsky:

Our garden is getting eaten by rats! I had to build a rat-proof cage over one raised bed but now things are growing like crazy in there! Last weeks' show: big crunch at the end of the first hour
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:24pm
gloomsday:

wow, you can't catch a break!! the squirrels only care about our raised bed too. time to construct a similar cage, i guess. but i'm glad your plants are now safe and growing! whatcha plant?

thanks for the heads up! I'll listen for the cronch :)

Tbh, I built the bed and cage but my wife does most most of the planting and caregiving. The rats really went after the cabbage and mizuna. The peas are going off and kale is coming along slowly

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:33pm

nice!! jealous about the peas!
Avatar 7:34pm
Jesse Kaminsky:

I built the cage a little too short unfortunately, the peas want to climb higher!

The clarity achieved by the hand-made mics here is interesting. So transparent. Noiseless.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:52pm

Hand made?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:53pm

Jesse, so nice of you to build it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:55pm

Little phantom-powered mics. Listed on Andrus Kannel's Bandcamp page for that recording. Similar to these chresti >

Avatar 7:56pm
Jesse Kaminsky:

@chresti, the mics on the Andrus Kannel track were handmade... I'm trying to put links to the bandcamp pages for all these songs in the album field so more details are easy to find..

chresti... it's peak misery, but i'm close to the end of this phase of it anyway... small matter of losing a good old friend (like friends since the 80's old)

oh those blessed dags (i love 'em but with the warmer weather came earlier and noisier dogs. i need to give up and plug my ear holes every night. that, and we're going to try wearing blinders for the new earlier light

I gotta this lockdown-lite window of opportunity to actually go into a store to buy some shoes (i.e. try them on); all I have are two wrecked pair of Aussy boots that are duct-taped together. Hobo chic.

If it's a dermal burn, just run cold water on it for a good 20 minutes. If you think it''s 2nd degree, 30 minutes. Works every time for me (2nd degree burns blister, and leave pain, but are not threathening to ones health), as long it's less then 2% of one's body surface.
