Avatar 10:31pm
John L:

I saw the Good Rats a few times. Not sure how well their music holds up. There is a nice little film called "Roadie," in 2011, about a a guy who gets fired off a BOC tour. At one point he is hanging out with an ex and they listen to Good Rats records. I was hit with a small wave of nostalgia, but not enough to try and get back into them.

Michael Shore:

one thing's for sure, neither Bob Geldof nor Jon Palumbo could play the baseball bat like Pepe Marchello.
Avatar 10:33pm

Ira, I saw Kansas twice. No defense there, either. And Michael, I must have seen The Good Rats a half dozen times and never caught a rubber rat. Sigh.
  Swag For Life Member 10:34pm

The Good Rats never made that great record they'll always be remembered for. they played around alot though
  Swag For Life Member 10:35pm

I saw Kansas at least twice. I owe Crack the Sky a huge apology.
Avatar 10:38pm
John L:

The first time I saw Kansas I was really into it. The second time, because I was given a ticket, was one years later. I was done with them, but I didn't want to be rude. it was a good example of how fast tastes change when a teenager.

Barney Grubbs:

an indelible memory from my youth is standing in a long line at the LA Children’s Museum, waiting to meet Ron Cey, then half-an-hour in watching in horror as the man himself left the museum, walking past all the kids in line, a look of disgust on his mustachioed face and muttering under his breath. Still a dodger fan, but it was rough on a ten-year-old.

Tuned into the show a little late. Just got home from my first trip in well over a year...to a field in Tivoli, NY. Sure is nice to have a landing at home in Saint Paul that is also easy on the ears.
