	♥ 9:29am YETI BOB: @Sketch: Depends on what you mean by "effectively". It didn't sound clean but it made the van rattle! And this is just the stock stereo, not good speakers. The bass sound started as a pure sine wave, I added a bit of tremolo, then I overdrove that so that the peaks clipped off and it looked like a square wave. In other words - dirty. And that's how it came out of the car speakers.

I'd be inclined to believe him, as that would be a very odd thing to make up, but he would always come in and regale us with hilariously incorrect "insider" music trivia. Highlights: Jimi Hendrix died in 1967 (two years before Woodstock), Lee Hazlewood wasn't in very good health (he had been dead for a few years at the time), and Fats Domino was "The richest Black man in America."

City Lights Rep got French sailor shirt and beret .. ps the old City Lights SF Bookshop on the corner (still there?) was super plain and simple and lovely ANDDDDD ..
