	4:06pm those thoughts: Thanks Tim. It was their Mothership tour. with the decending spaceship and all. I snuck into the show and stood at the edge of stage with my camera (no floor seating).One of those gorgeous dancers gave me a once in a lifetime pose during a song.

	♥ 4:08pm tim from champaign (now washington): My grandparents went to a Church of God church. I'd go to church with them when I'd spend the weekend with them as a real little kid. I was scared of yet very intrigued by the preacher who would get red faced and sweaty while pace and yelling and preaching. Later in life I realized I loved it because the preacher reminded me of a pro wrestler during their pre-match monologue.

	4:10pm those thoughts: @Sphere in the mid '70's a girlfriend had four tickets to a show. We couldn't find two more people to go with us. I never heard of the performer, Bruce Springsteen. The show was full sold out (execpt for the two seats beside us. That was hands-down the best concert I have or ever will have seen.

When we were offered tix for dirt cheap, I and my SO decided to go to Thai instead lol. Not the bigges Bruce fan needless to say. Although he has been growing on me slightly.
	♥ 4:19pm paddy in matawan: But I also thought P-Funk was one of the best shows I ever saw too. I loved how they have a "smokehand" who's job it was to pass around the weed to the band members during songs!

	4:20pm those thoughts: @Paddy, I can't describe the concert, it wasn't just the songs it was the whole performance by BB and the band. Some kind of personal performer's magic that made the experience a level above and beyond a normal concert. The entire audience was transfixed. I have never seen such an immediate and enthusiastic standing ovation ever.

The crowd was shocked and amazed at how damned good they were. It was embarassing because there wasn't a ton of enthusiasum and the band was kinda mad. But they were just that good. I hope they knew.

I was scared of yet very intrigued by the preacher who would get red faced and sweaty while pace and yelling and preaching. Later in life I realized I loved it because the preacher reminded me of a pro wrestler during their pre-match monologue.

Some kind of personal performer's magic that made the experience a level above and beyond a normal concert. The entire audience was transfixed.
