Last one in this series, that's dedication BC. Awesome selections as the ISM books made me feel that I was not so alone in my collecting habits in the mid-90s. Looking forward to what comes next. Tuned in alongside work here today, yay.

Jan Turkenburg:

still tuned in! Hi everyone!

Hey ya Sem & Con Con & Jan
Avatar 2:07pm
BC Sterrett:

I should have made that more clear. There will be more Biafra shows, this is just the last of the Religious Drug shows. Next week we move to the Children's records section.

Oh, ha! I need to consult my book.

Avatar 2:23pm
BC Sterrett:

Ha, that guy did get pimples on the last record...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:24pm
StringOFperils:

This one needs samples to pad out all the air space. Maybe a mash-up w the Brian Rudd....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm
StringOFperils:

I can see why this one holds a special place. It's special.
Avatar 2:32pm
BC Sterrett:

Found this 2nd copy at the goodwill in Layton once. It was the only record lying on a random shelf. I was like "sure, I take another."
Avatar 2:33pm
Otis:

Sure, it was super nice.
Avatar 2:33pm
BC Sterrett:

It made my transition between songs easier anyway :)
Avatar 2:33pm
Constance De Witt:

What's going on with Brian's hair????
Avatar 2:34pm
Otis:

Ha, totally. Sometimes when playing tracks back to back or skipping around the same record I have SFX of cows and birds on hand to fill the void. Sorry, yes, what is up with that perm?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:36pm
StringOFperils:

He walked out of solitary confinement with a golden pompadoured perm and super fine threads. Just one of many many miracles.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37pm
StringOFperils:

But he never could shake the Big Mac smell.
Avatar 2:38pm
BC Sterrett:

One of the world's greatest artist photos, ...sitting in his home library with his favorite fancy neck tie.
Avatar 2:38pm
Otis:

Thank you Kitten Sparkles for this testinom.. ahem, Perminomy
Avatar 2:39pm
BC Sterrett:

I often use the station ID as a bridge when I have to skip between tracks on the same record, ...but cow sounds would be better!
Avatar 2:40pm
Otis:

Yes barber yes. Exactly like Dr. Zaius but as a perm please.
Avatar 2:41pm

Keep off the drugs kids, unless you want your hair to look like this

Avatar 3:48pm
BC Sterrett:

I read the findings from some historical records that it was the original apostles that moved the Sabbath to Sunday, calling it "The Lord's Day." In remembrance of the day they saw the resurrected Savior. This was also a way to separate their new Christian faith from the traditions of the Jews. Either way, I think it's interesting.
Avatar 3:50pm
Constance De Witt:

One of my dreams would be to do a degree in religion! Maybe later!
Avatar 3:51pm
BC Sterrett:

I took a class on world religions in college. It really was interesting.
Avatar 3:52pm

I couldn't find it on discogs, but it must be there somewhere. This is a photo of my copy. There is no specific artist listed in the credits.
Avatar 3:55pm
