ONEIDA performs live
When Oneida first came to WFMU last June, we thanked them for tearing our live room asunder. Now they've returned - for their fourth visit! - and we've begged them to do it again: "give us a catharsis", we said... "blow our fog away". Of course, Oneida aims to please - tonight they've given us a pure shot of blinding clarity, and for that we're ever grateful. Here's what they done:

  • To Everything There Is a Tyme to Remember Aaliyah
  • Still Rememberin' Hidin' In The Stones
  • Sheets of Easter
  • Each One Teach One
  • People of the North
  • All Arounder
  • Doin' Business In Japan
  • Double Lock Your Mind
ONEIDA remains:
  • Fat Bobby: woody organ & vox
  • PCRZ: woody organ, guitar & vox
  • Hanoi Baby Jane: bass, guitar & vox
  • Kid Millions: drums
Oneida's new album "Anthem of the Moon" is out this week on Jagjaguwar - see them real soon in a city near you! They leave for a 6 week tour on Thursday.

Thanks again to Oneida for being who they are, doing what they do & doing it for us! Thanks also to Jesse Cannon for his amazing ears & prowess on the mixing board....
....and happy happy birthday to the one&only Maria Stanko.
