Welcome & hail LIARS! Liars are 4 guys from Nebraska & Australia who've honed their Brit post-punk thing so sharp & fine and moved it on over to Brooklyn & Jersey City. Don't say Gang of Four, or they'll become one on your ass! Amazing rock-star charisma combines with weirdo loopy guitar & a rhythm section that's, uh, tighter than a mosquito's ass. They met thru a head-on collision in Tijuana and a barn-dance in Nebraska, so you know they come from unusual Rock Stock. Plus they have great song titles. Witness:
Thanks so much to LIARS for an amazing performance, and thanks always to Gil Shuster and Chris Stubbs for making them sound so fantathtic on the radio! |
