SCIENTIFICALLY SPEAKING:
AN EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY WITH IRENE MOON

Irene Moon has braved the, uh, "Storm of the Century" and driven all the way from last night's gig in Pittsburgh just to be with us today. She's brought with her fellow Athens Georgian Chris Jolly, director of the film "Curse of the Seven Jackals", and an assortment of fine little beasties - you know, Creepy Crawlies - Big Ass Bugs!! Yes, today's lecture features not only film accompaniment and the sounds of the Darling Centrifuge, but also show-(and touch)-and-tell entertainment with GIGANTIC MILLIPEDES and COCKROACHES.

Chris Jolly's film "Curse of the Seven Jackals" chronicles the nightmare of Synthetic Blood experiments and how to enjoy Bingo and Karaoke when you're all hopped up on the stuff. Today we enjoyed film excerpts as well as score elements composed by Elephant 6-ers Laura Carter, Eric Harris, Jeff Mangum, Heather McIntosh, and Chris himself.

You can contact Irene & Chris like this:

Thanks again to Irene & Chris for stopping by! Thanks also to Steve Connolly of Perhaps Transparent for getting them here & being onhand to share in the show & tell sessions.
