Live performance by The 4th Street Niteowls

(Dale Burlyson: vocals, guitar/ Megan Burlyson: vocals, washboard/ Carl Bagley: piano/ Jerry Fabris: bass)

According to their website, "The 4th St. Nite Owls perform the best of Prohibition music without the prohibition. They play their Tin Pan Alley repertoire with more enthusiasm than anyone's heard since Swing cooled off in the fifties. With back porch Southern vocal stylings and Western piano, their take on Barrel House Jazz meets uptown sophistication." Guitarist Dale Burleyson and bassist Jerry Fabris are no strangers to 'Old-Timey' music. Dale was in in the band, Pork Chop, a larger ensemble playing music in the same vein. And Jerry works as a music archivist, in the midst of all those original recordings at the Edison Museum in West Orange, NJ
